Telephone Frequently Asked Questions

Is there a monthly fee for having a telephone in my dorm room?
The University offers a phone service to our students at great per call rates. There is no monthly fee for the use of the phone. Local calls, campus calls and toll free numbers are free.
 
Does the University provide a voicemail service?
The University provides voicemail for faculty and staff phones only. Students living in university residences can attach their own answering machines to their phone line (fax machines and modems will also work on student lines.)
 
Does the University provide Caller ID?
The university does not provide caller ID services for student telephones at this time. Caller ID is available on some faculty or staff lines.
 
Where do I go to pay my phone bill?
Come to the IT House at 1311 North Park Street. We're at the corner of Phoenix and North Park.
