Do my roommate and I each have our own separate telephone number?
No, you share the same line and number, but each will have your own telephone jack.
What is my telephone number?
The Office of Residential Life will be contacting you with your room information. That information will also include your Illinois Wesleyan campus telephone number.
Do I need to bring a telephone?
This depends upon the residence hall you will be living in (the Office of Residential Life will be notifying you about your room details).
Do I need to bring an answering machine?
Yes, you can bring one if you want to.
Telephone and answering machine tip:
Contact your roommate before arriving on campus to discuss the details about who is bringing the telephone and the answering machine. Both of you may want your own telephone, but only one answering machine can function in each room.
What do local calls cost?

How much do international calls cost?
Before making an international call, you should contact the Telecommunications Office at (309) 556-3430 for a current quote.
Where do I pay my telephone bill?
Telephone bills are due on the 20th of each month and should be paid at the IT house, 1311 N. Park St, three houses north from the Chapel.
