Memorial Center, dedicated in 1947, honors the memory of Illinois Wesleyan men and women who served in World War II. It houses the university's Main Lounge and the Main Desk information center, which can be reached at (309) 556-1000.

Dining services for students, faculty and staff are also available at Memorial Center. Bertholf Commons is the main student dining room, where Sodexho Campus Services offers a wide choice of "all-you-can-eat" menus to meet individual preferences. Bertholf Commons is named for the university's 14th president, Lloyd Bertholf, who served from 1958-1968. Other food services include the Coffee Shoppe featuring Starbucks products, Dug Out snack bar and Sub Connection.

Student media operations and various conference rooms are also located in the Memorial Center, where many groups and organizations host speakers and catered meal events.

accessible The Memorial Center is accessible from the South end of the building. There is an elevator with access to all floors at the Memorial Center. The elevator is located around the corner from the Main Desk, which is located just inside the south entrance.
