Assistant Professor of Biology B.S., Eastern Illinois University; Ph.D. University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign Biography Dr. Walter’s research interests concern the developmental mechanisms that underlie morphological diversity in closely related organisms. Current research utilizes embryological and molecular techniques to analyze developmental variation in characin fishes.
