In keeping with the philosophy of Illinois Wesleyan University, the internship program strives to provide its students with superior educational opportunities through practical work experience. Internships allow students the opportunity to test what they have learned in the classroom while on the job, and to gain an edge in the job market. Through the mutual efforts of employers and educators, the internship program trains, teaches and prepares students to be productive and valuable members of the working world.
