Catholic Center:  Newman House and Focus

The Catholic community at Illinois Wesleyan University gathers students and community members in worship, study, prayer and fellowship.  This community believes in the compatibility of the Catholic faith and the intellectual life and is committed to and challenged by the life and love of Jesus.  The Catholic community desires to grow through prayer, study, sacraments and social action; and to be channels of God’s love to those living, learning and working in our campus community.

Reconciliation is held each Friday at 11:00 a.m. in Evelyn Chapel followed by Friday Mass is held at 12:00 p.m., and Sunday Mass at 10:00 a.m. both take place at Evelyn Chapel.
