Computer Science

Program Description

Course requirements for the degree in Computer Science are designed to meet the needs of students majoring in computer science, minoring in computer science, or students from other fields of study with an interest in computing. Students who intend to take more than one course in computer science should begin with CS 127 or CS 126. Prerequisites are strictly enforced. The computer science curriculum at Illinois Wesleyan provides students with a strong background in the theory of computing and current programming practices. This enables students to enter graduate programs in computer science or pursue careers as programmers/analysts.
