Computer Science

Major Sequence:

A computer science major consists of:

1) CS 126 or 127

2) CS 128, CS 255, CS 256

3) two courses from CS 355, CS 356, CS 357

4) four additional upper-level courses in computer science

Additional courses for the major:

1) Math 135 and 235

Minor Sequence:

A computer science minor consists of:

1) CS 126 or 127

2) CS 128, CS 255, CS 256

3) two courses at the upper-level in computer science

4) Math 135

Only one of the courses CS126 and CS127 will count towards the major or minor in computer science. Students may not take CS126 after successfully completing CS127. CS 498 does not count toward completion of the major or minor degree requirements in computer science. CS 499 does not count for the minor degree requirement.
