The Ames Library
The Ames library also contains many resources essential to learning German and researching topics on German-speaking countries
- German-English dictionaries
- The Duden series of grammar and style aids for advanced students
- A variety of films and musical recordings from the 20th and 21st centuries from German-speaking countries
- Primary and secondary material on literature, film, history, politics, culture, etc. from German-speaking countries
- International Film Series

Computer Classroom Instruction
(The following links are available on-campus only)
Instruction in a computer classroom is a regular portion of German language learning at IWU. The Mac lab in Buck 204 and the PC lab in Buck 202 are normally used for this instruction.
Classroom Instruction
Buck 1, Buck 2 and Buck 12 are often used for German language instruction. Buck 108 is used for instruction and for film screenings as well.
