Degree Requirements:

Major Sequence: A minimum of ten course units in history to include:

• History 290 Seminar in the Theory and Writing of History
• History 490 Senior Research Seminar
• Eight elective course units within the history department. Only one unit of history 397 may count toward the major

Minor Sequence: A minimum of six course units in history  to include:

• Two course units selected at the 100-200 level *
• Three courses units at the 300 level *

    * History 250, 397, and 450 may not count toward the minor
