The Thorpe Digital Center provides equipment, software and help for producing digital video/audio for IWU related projects.

Workshops on producing digital video are offered through the Information Technology Tutoring Center. For more information call 556-3300.

Things you can do!
  • Scan photographs and use them in a PowerPoint, web or video presentation, or e-mail.
  • Digitize and edit videos.
  • Create a PowerPoint or web presentation then burn it to a CD-R or DVD.
  • Record a CD or DVD of your data, video, audio or an entire presentation.
  • Borrow equipment to shoot your video and edit on one of our TDC Workstations. You may then output it to a DVD.
Shoot it! The following equipment is available to check-out:

6 - Sony Digital Cameras w/ USB connectivity

4 - Digital Camcorder w/ firewire connectivity

3 - VHS Camcorders


Edit it! The following equipment is available for use in creating your final product:

IMac OS X with iLife series software

Windows XP with Adobe Premiere Elements software

Windows XP with Fijitsu scanner and color printer

TV w/VCR and firewire hook-up

Burn It! CD and DVD Burners are available.
