SUBMIT A MISSING ITEM

If you've checked the location on the shelves where an item should be, and it isn't there:

  • The item may be slightly out of sequence.  Look along the shelf and on the shelves above and below.
  • The item may be very out of sequence, but still findable.  For example, if you are looking for a PN 1997, you may try looking around PN 199.
  • Check the service center.
  • Double check the status in the Library Catalog.  Not all books are in the stacks.  Look for other locations such as New, Special Collections, or  the Mellon Center.

If the item is still not found, please fill out the following form and submit.  The item will be marked missing and we will search for the title.  Include your contact information if you would like to be contacted about the status of an item.  If you are not able to find the item and need it quickly, please request it through Interlibrary Loan.
