IWU Announces Ticket Plan for Sectional NCAA Game

    Bloomington. ILL.- General admission tickets will be sold beginning Tuesday, March 7, for Illiinois Wesleyan's NCAA Division III basketball sectional tournament game Friday in Appleton, Wis.

    Due to gymnasium size at Lawrence, the Augustana vs. Puget  Sound game will be played at 5 p.m. on Fri., March 10, then the arena will be cleared to allow fans in for the 8 p.m. game featuring the Titans (22-6) and No. 1-ranked Lawrence (25-0).

    IWU will have an allotment of 350 tickets available for the 8 p.m. game only and those tickets will go on sale for everyone at 12 noon Tues., March 7 at the Shirk Center concession stand.

    Illinois Wesleyan fans who wish to see the Augustana/Puget Sound game may be able to purchase those tickets, while they last, beginning at 3:30 p.m. on the day of the game at the Lawrence gymnasium ticket window.

    Should IWU win Friday night, tickets for the sectional final would be sold at the site immediately following that game.  The final would be played at 7 p.m. Saturday.
