Alumni / Careers

Typically 100 percent of graduates of Illinois Wesleyan’s School of Nursing are employed at the time they complete their degrees.

Graduates pursue a variety of exciting careers, often taking positions of leadership. Many go on to graduate study. Alumni include chief operating officers of major health care institutions and community health care clinics, nursing professors, researchers, school nurses, nurse midwives, nurse practitioners and more.

Nursing students are offered career seminars and career fairs where health care institutions have the opportunity to recruit them, plus they receive a variety of job-search assistance from Illinois Wesleyan’s Career Center.
