New Titan Parent Checklist

• Know when your student is moving to campus (Tuesday, August 19) - There is a short schedule for parents on this day in which you meet your student's first year advisor as well as attend a few other informative events. Attendance is not required but highly recommended.
• Talk with your family about how your student's transition to college will affect everyone
• Discuss important issues with your student--budget/money management, having a car on campus, transitioning, part-time employment, expectations, etc.
• Understand that your student is an adult and will experience many freedoms and responsibilities at IWU
• Visit the IWU Bookstore to get Titan Gear for the whole family!
• Check-in with your student and be supportive of their decisions
