Psychology Department
People study psychology for a variety of reasons. Some are interested in the study of psychology as part of a general liberal arts education. Others aspire to a career in psychology. The department of psychology at Illinois Wesleyan meets the needs and interests of both types of students. An undergraduate major in psychology may prove of considerable value to students planning careers in professional fields other than psychology, such as medicine, education, social work, law, or business and industry, to name just a few.
