Professor of Sociology University of Nebraska-Lincoln Biography
Teodora (Teddy) O. Amoloza received her Ph.D. from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. She teaches Social Statistics, Methods of Social Research, Population and Environment, Women in International Development, Senior Seminar, Introduction to International Studies and Peoples and Cultures of Southeast Asia. In addition to her membership in professional associations in sociology, she is also a member of the Association of Women in Development. She was director of two Title VI grants from the US Department of Education to Illinois Wesleyan and has been the Director of the ASIANetwork Freeman Student Faculty Fellows Program since 1998. She was the recipient of the 2000 DuPont Award for Teaching Excellence, the highest faculty honor at the university.
