Major Sequence:

A minimum of 9 course units in Sociology to include:

1) Sociology 227*, 290, 327, and 492; and

2) at least five additional course units, with two at the 300-level and no more than one at the 100-level.

*Students who have passed 227 (statistics) in another discipline may substitute another Sociology course to meet major requirements.

Minor Sequence:

A minimum of 6 course units in Sociology to include:

1) 290 and 327; and

2) four additional courses, at least one at the 300-level (excluding 397) and no more than two at the 100-level.
