2009 IWU Madrid Program -- How to Apply

Participation in the Madrid Program is open to IWU students of all schools and majors who are in good standing, who have at least 4 units of credit toward graduation, and who have completed at least one semester of study on-campus. A minimum of 16 and maximum of 24 students may participate.  The  application deadline for the 2009 Madrid Program is 4:00 pm, April 14, 2008.

The application consists of

• Completed Application Form
• Essay (300-500 words) explaining your interest in the Madrid Program
• Academic Reference Form
• Non-Academic Reference Form
• Passport-sized photo (full-face; digital photos accepted)
• Other items as specified by the International Office and/or Madrid Program Director

Selection is based on the following criteria: Quality and strength of recommendations Personal essay Class standing Possible interview with Program Director Students will be notified of admission by the end of April.  A non-refundable deposit of $1,000 will be due at the Business Office within one week of acceptance.
