Scholarships

Incoming freshman and transfer students applying to our BFA programs must audition and/or present a portfolio for admission. Talent Awards of $5,600 to $10,000 are available to incoming students, based upon your audition. Applicants to the BA program need not audition for admission, but they may audition or present a portfolio for the Talent Award.

In addition, prospective students must submit an application to the University, along with transcripts and test scores. Academic Merit Awards of $5,000 to $10,000 are also available, based upon the academic record submitted with your application.

Students who are eligible for both a Talent Award and an Academic Merit Award may only accept the higher of the two. Both types of awards are renewable for four years as long as the student's GPA is at or above 3.0, and in the case of Talent Awards, as long as the student continues to contribute to the Theatre program in a meaningful way.

In addition, the University offers need-based grants and loans to qualifying students. For more information on financial aid, see the Admission Office.
