Biography

Marcia K. McDonald, Associate Professor of Theatre Arts, received her MFA from Brandeis University in costume design. Prior to assuming this position in the fall of 1998, she was an artist in residence at Keene College for the Fall Semester of 1997. She also served as resident designer at the Opera Company of Boston for two years. Moving to New York City in 1988, she worked in both regional theatre as well as New York. Her Broadway credits include Cyrano the Musical, Three Men & a Horse, On the Waterfront, In the Summerhouse, and Dream with Ann Hould-Ward. Ms. McDonald also worked with the late Patricia Zipprodt on Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, Fiddler on the Roof, and the ABT production of Sleeping Beauty.
