Bowl For Kids' Sake
Bowl for Kids' Sake is a fundraising competition between Illinois Wesleyan University and Illinois State University to see who can generate the most donations for Big Brothers, Big Sisters. Teams of six participants are formed, and anyone can participate. Trophies are given out to the team and university raising the most funds. Everyone who participates receives pizza, a free t-shirt, and a night of bowling and fun. Click here for more information.
Community Outreach Day
Illinois Wesleyan Students are invited out into the community to help with projects. This day of service is Illinois Wesleyan's way of giving back to the community we live in. Click here for more information.
Alternative Spring Break
This new program will hopefully be starting in Spring of 2007. Alternative Spring Break gives students the opportunity to immerse themselves in a new culture for a week. This trip concentrates on service in many different areas, and the locations will be chosen based on the interests of the students applying.
