Titans Chosen for NCAA Division III Tourney

For the seventh time overall and the first time since the 2003 team finished third in the nation, the Illinois Wesleyan softball team has been chosen to play in the NCAA Division III national tournament.
The Titans (31-12) will play St. Norbert (20-12) at 2 p.m. on Thurs., May 10 in the Eau Claire, Wis., regional. Other teams in the double elimination regional field are Augustana, Chicago, Coe, top-seed Wis.-Oshkosh and the host school. Go here for the regional bracket.
In addition to 2003, IWU has been in the NCAA event in 1994, 1996, 2000, 2001 and 2002 and has an 11-12 record in tournament play.
